What is the duration for ThermiRF™ treatment?
ThermiRF™ fat treatment is a step by step procedure. Before treatment begins, the areas that need to be treated will be marked out for ease of identification. Next, you will be given local or general anesthesia to ease the discomfort associated with the fat removal and skin tightening processes. Your physician will then treat different areas with the ThermiRF™ energy that is thermistor regulated. Different temperatures apply for different tissues. For instance melting fat would require temperatures of 70°C while smoothing skin would need 42°C and disabling nerves would need temperature adjustments at 85°C. Normally treatment takes 30 to 60 minutes but it will, however, depend on a patient needs and the size of the areas to be treated. After treatment, you may be discharged to go home with the help of someone; you will also need assistance at home. If you are not well enough to go home, you will have an overnight stay in the hospital.
