Male Breast Reduction

Over developed or woman-like breasts in a man can cause much embarrassment, especially on the beach or in the locker room. The problem is much more common than once thought, and can affect 40%-60% of men, especially those over fifty. Ultrasonic Assisted Liposuction and new Laser Assisted Liposuction, a newly developed technology, can remove those localized fatty tissues and return a more masculine chest contour. First a dilute anesthetic is injected. Next, the ultrasonic probe is inserted and melts the fat. The liquefied fat is then aspirated. Sometimes, if the breast is made up of more ductal tissue, a small incision is made around the nipple, the breast tissue is surgically excised, and the chest is sculpted.

To help reduce swelling and to promote skin contraction, you will be asked to wear an elastic garment for several weeks post-surgically. You can return to work in just a few days.
