Chin Augmentation in Chicago

Often done in conjunction with rhinoplasty, a receding chin can be strengthened by inserting a plastic implant or by moving the chin bone forward, making the chin fuller and strengthening a persons profile. The incisions to insert the implant may be made in the mouth or on the underside of the chin.

After surgery, the area may be taped or bandaged. To permit healing you may be placed on a liquid diet for a day or two. You will most likely be up and about the same day as surgery and back to work within one to two weeks.
