Chicago Breast Augmentation

Breasts that are small and underdeveloped or breasts that have decreased in size after having children can be enlarged by Chicago breast augmentation enhancment specialist Dr. Bloch, who surgically inserts an implant behind each breast.

The implants can be inserted through an incision in the lower fold of the breasts, under the areola or in the armpit. Depending on your body characteristics, Chicago breast augmentation expert Dr. Bloch may recommend that the implants be placed either in front of or behind the chest muscle and within reason, the size that you feel is right for you can usually be achieved. The implant surface may be smooth or textured. Some contain silicone gel or saline solution.

Presently there are two types of Implants - Saline or Silicone - and various styles. As part of your consultation Dr. Bloch will discuss these options and advise you on what's most appropriate for your body. Dr. Bloch can update you on all the options available and answer any questions.

Swelling or discoloration will occur but will soon disappear. After surgery you will wear a surgical brassiere. You can usually shower the next day.

Various activities may be restricted for two or three weeks following surgery, especially strenuous exercising.
